I have never blogged before. It still seems like a strange concept to me. People just rattling off tidbits of information. Things that they wished they would have known or things they wished they didn't need to know. Everyone has a different style and everyone thinks their stuff is important. So important they need to put it on the internet for everyone to discuss....and here I am joining the throng. Deciding to join my voice to the crowd.
First, I need you to know that my opinions are just mine. Made from the life I have lead and the stuff I have learned. I'm not up for arguing and haters. In fact I generally dislike arguments and tend to walk away...so be warned.
Second, I'm a stay at home mom, so basically everything I do and say revolves around my kids. Sorry if it is too much sometimes, but I kinda live it 24/7 and my perspective is a little one sided. And I do love my kids.
Third, my faith in Christ is above all the most important thing in my life. So He will generally pop up in my conversations. I love Him too.
Also my husband is pretty cool....and yes, I love him as well.
Last, this site is just to show all you fine people (if there is anyone who even reads it) the amazing pieces of history that still linger in our thrift stores, garage sales and basements. I have a love of history and stories and usually that combines itself to me asking too many questions...especially to old people cause they are amazing. So when I find these pieces - the reason I sell them is because I want to share their story to the world. Maybe then you will also ask an old person something and want to listen to their story....and maybe bring the toy along that you bought from my store...I bet they will be able to tell some stories about it.
So, that's me in a nut shell.
